Alberto Culver is a company built on an enduring foundation of ethics and values with a strong sense of social responsibility at the core of everything we do. We invest in the community through various programs - both internally created initiatives as well as ones that already exist in the community.
We have built our community support programs from these principles:

Our commitment to sustainability is long standing. Alberto-Culver was an early participant in a number of programs designed to monitor and reduce the environmental impact of our processes, products and packages. For example, we have been a licensed member of the Green Dot recycling program for over 10 years and their recycling logo is placed on our packaging. We also support package recycling programs in the UK, Canada and Scandinavia. Our plants have had programs to minimize the environmental impact of our product processes and we use external experts to help us develop new opportunities in the environmental world.
And, as critical as each of the above areas are, they must be and are built and sustained from a strong foundation of ethics. The company has a formal Code of Ethics, created by the Board of Directors, which employees are required to read and acknowledge in writing.
